Radical pro-abortion groups in Kansas just challenged a new law requiring abortionists to report why women have abortions … claiming that this law is somehow a threat to women’s bodily autonomy and therefore bad for women.
They view merely collecting data on why women have abortions a threat to their Big Abortion industry.
Proponents of the new law rightly claim the data will be able to help them better meet the needs of women seeking abortion by providing alternatives, so it’s clear why the extremists oppose it.
This will threaten their bottom line.
That’s what this battle is always about to them. It’s not about helping women. They couldn’t care less about women.
Instead, they oppose anything that could possibly mean a loss of revenue for them.
The same types of groups that are at work in Kansas are behind Initiative 89, the ballot initiative that would enshrine the “right” to abortion in our state constitution.
